Mar 30, 10:10am: Switzerland is an amazing place and full of surprises. I live in Basel, the 2nd largest city after Zurich, but probably a more cosmopolitant place despit common believe. When there is a sport event such as the world cup or the olimpic games, you don't need to watch TV or listen to the radio to know who's winning, just wait to see a car drove by someone from that country. Basel is a colorfull place filled with diversity, where you sometimes have a hard time figuring out what language people are speaking on the street. We do our groceries in Germany, and buy fresh fish in France, but if I feel like going further I just pick a low cost flight from Basel airport to virtually anywere in Europe and beyond. If you get the chance, don't hesitate dropping by you'll love it.
